A Little About Me
I am an earnest student of Yoga.
From childhood, I have recognized suffering and sought to diminish it, raising funds for non-profits several years in my mid-teens. Ultimately, I understood through my own meditation practice, that freedom from suffering arises internally. The most effective preventative medicine and antidote is the direct experience of our true nature—universal consciousness or unconditional love.
Radiant health and peace of mind are accessible with the tools offered by this ancient science of yoga. I co-founded Woodbury Meditation & Yoga Center 36 years ago to provide greater access to these methods. Meditating daily for 45 years, I offer classes privately or in groups within medical, educational, corporate, and community settings, at the center, throughout the Northeast and wherever invited.
It is my honor and blessing to be of service and support to anyone seeking healing, spiritual evolution, or freedom from any form of stress, anxiety or suffering.
Since 2003, I've been spending 6 weeks most winters in India, doing spiritual practices on the banks of the holy Narmada River in Gujarat, or immersed in Ayurvedic treatments in Maharastra.
My Teachers
I received kundalini awakening from Dhyanyogi Madhusudandas in 1978. Sri Anandi Ma, his spiritual heir, is carrying on his work accompanied by her husband, Dileepji. www.dyc.org
